During the summer of 2009 I spent a month in Quebec City. I rented an apartment across the street from the Citadel (Avenue St. Denis) with a view of the St. Lawrence river. Not knowing a single word of French I seemed to get along just fine. A photo opportunity waited at every turn. It was the best month EVER!
I have included a few of these shots in my gallery along with several highlights of that year: The Memorial Drive fire, the Koala visit to the Calgary Zoo, the Calgary Transit bus slamming into the LRT ramp—as well as a few of my favourites including my four beautiful grown children (it's ok to be a proud papa, eh?).
I also won an honourable mention for 'Focal Point' at the Buildex Tradeshow Calgary in November 2010 (bottom left). This photo was taken at the SAIT parking garage.
